Hello everyone,
I find myself having to walk from Maar Gan to the Urshilaku camp quite
often, and it's quite a trek. Has anyone invented a patch whereby I
could get on a moped instead? I know it might spoil the authenticity
a bit, but even so, I've done the walk half a dozen times now, and
it's beginning to lose it's appeal. The road seems reasonably flat,
so you wouldn't get (m)any punctures. Obviously a bus would be even
better, but there might not be quite enough room, although it would
provide ample protection from the native beasts.
The only thing I did think about being on a moped is that they're
quite noisy, and would most probably attract a lot of Cliff Racers.
Still, I suppose it's possible you could keep one hand on the steering
bar, and one hand waving one's sword in the air?
Or couple the above with a levatation potion, and you could have
something out of ET! Hee-hee!
Having done the main quest recently I'll just say that I personally just
set a Mark in the camp for instant returns.
Almsivi intervention would take me from the camp to the nearest temple
(which is ALWAYS in a town with some kind of fast travel) allowing me
fast access to anywhere I might need to go.

Note to say I wouldn't like the ability to set more than one mark
though, but having only one can be worked around with the intervention
spells.

This is what I've done in Bloodmoon - my Mark is in the north of the
island, and a Divine Intervention takes me to the Fort, while a
Almsivi takes me to Gnisis.

One really annoying thing about Bloodmoon is a lack of fast travel
around the island.

They got them hoppy legs and twitchy little noses !
And what's with all the carrots ?
What do they need such good eyesight for anyway ?

There's an excellent multi-mark teleportation plugin on morrowind
planet. I like this mob because while it does relieve some of the tedium
of travelling you have to visit the places you mark at least once,
unlike some of the teleport plugins that will teleport you to places
you've never visited.

What's the URL for this plugin?

Well if you don't want to sacrifice authenticity you can always use the
"boots of blinding speed". Not as comfy as a bus but you'll be able to
outrun almost anything (or anyone) as they come with a 200 pts speed
increase.
Just be sure to muster some magicka resistance before you put
on those boots or you won't be able to enjoy the landscape...
You can use waterwalking combined with the boots and run along the
coast from the walk from the nearby fishing village, Khuull(?).

You can also travel via propylon chamber to Valenvaryon which is a short
hike from the Urshilaku camp.
