Yesterday, I was following a road and came upon a guard and a deer just
bouncing up and down, about three feet in the air. Then I looked around
and realized that every NPC in the area was doing the same thing. Not
moving, just bouncing up and down. Then I got caught in it too. Luckily
I was able to move and get out of it, but it was a hilarious sight to
behold.

At one point the bouncing guard gave me the "Can I help you?" dialogue.

Oh man, that is really funny. You should get FRAPS, see if you can
re-create it and record a demo.

Last night I opened a door and walked into a bedroom in one of the Fighters Guild
Halls, and a shirt that was sitting on a shelf in a bookcase started flopping
around like a fish out of water. It was extremely bizarre looking, and only
stopped once it flopped in such a way that 1/2 of the shirt was sticking through
the side of the bookcase.

LOL. I remember someone doing some great videos from Halo 2 exploiting
a similar physics anomaly. If you hit a tank just right in multiplayer,
it would go spinning around like a top, flying into the air like a
balloon. Funny stuff.

I haven't seen any gliches as funny as yours, but I've encountered an
irritating one.

In the Sancre Tor mission (where you need to free 4 undead Blade warriors),
something glitched up when I killed the first skeleton. Instead of turning
into a ghost (like the other 3 skeletons) he turned human and fell limp to
the ground. The corpse was even labeled as the "Ghost of Rielus" but because
of this glitch I had to re-do the entire mission (grrrr).

so far I had ten deadra acolytes running in fear from my wrath, and they all
piled into a dead end of the cave. they shook and then froze. I used fire
spells in rapid succession to toast them all, the only movement from them
was when they died, they flew like ten pins being hit by a ball.

Outside of S_____ there was a citizen quietly eating his dinner, and
another citizen grabbed something he shouldn'a ought'a and the cry of
THIEF went up. A guard came running up to attack the thief, but the
thief had somehow phased into the nearby building. His hands and face
were sticking out of the wall, even though he could move along the
wall. The guard couldn't reach him, but kept running towards him. The
thief could reach the guard, however, and soon enough the guard was
dead.

It pained me to see a noble guardian of Cyrodil laid low in such a
fashion, but I found closure by taking all of his armour and weapons
and practicing my Merchantile skills with Paula the Pickled.

Tonight I was climbing a mountian, got attacked by a wolf, jumped onto some
rocks and somehow found myself floating in air. I couldn't get down.
Floated towards a steep slope to 'land' but that just pushed me higher in
the air. Floated across a ruined fort where bandits looked up at me and
followed after me. I took them out from the air with my bow just for
something to do. Eventually I started to lose health with the associated
grunts and then died.... lack of oxygen perhaps? Wierd... but funny at the
time.

Wandering in the wilderness somewhere around Bruma, my thief/archer
character came across a hunstman chasing a deer through a wooded area.
Whenever he paused to fire an arrow at his prey, he would issue a loud
battle cry: "This....ends....HERE!!!!", or "For the Emperor!!!" I chased
him around for awhile (collecting his stray arrows), hoping to get a chance
to talk to him.

Eventually, after what seemed to be several long minutes, he succeeded in
dropping the deer and I was able to catch up to him. Before I could engage
him in dialogue, however, another deer came bounding past. With a loud,
"Yaaaauuuuggghhhhh!!!", he charged off after his new target. I gave up the
chase, helping myself to a few more stray arrows and listening as his voice
faded into the woods: "This ... ends .... HERE!!!!" "For the Emperor!!!!"
"Yaaaauuuuuggghhhhhh!!!!"

Now, /there's/ a man that loves his work.

I got off my horse the other day to collect fish scales for the gentlemen
outside of town (his retirement). After I got back to his house after
fishing, the horse I was riding was perched on top of the fence post.
Somehow the horse got squeezed in between the peddler and the fence post
and ended up on top. When I got there the AI didn't know how to place the
horse back on level ground so it looked like the horse was rocking back and
forth on the fence. I had to double-take because it looked like the horse
was humping the fence post in front of the peddler. Needless to day I
laughed my ass off.

You have to love Oblivion :)

I haven't been able to finish this one yet -- I can only find one slaughter
fish at the moment, and he is currently encased in a rock. I followed the
green quest indicator arrow on my compass to locate him, and watched him as
he swam into the rock. I've been back twice to check on him, and the green
arrow indicates he's still inside that rock.

Perhaps I shouldn't assume this is a glitch; maybe the radiant AI has given
this fish the "need" to become fossilized!

Same thing happened to me. Ended up going back to a save game before
and redo this thing until I managed to kill that fish before it
"vanished". However, meanwhile I believe you can finish that quest
without killing this particular fish. Just keep looking around in the
lake until you come across another one. I don't know this for sure,
but I think there's more than the 12 needed in that lake.

I ran across a fish up on the shore flopping around. It was actually
quite hard to kill because it was moving around so much.

Back in Morrowind sometimes you'd come across whole groups of fish that
had swam up onto the shore. Maybe Slaughterfish are like Lemmings or
something? :-)

No.

This is not happening. You are hallucinating. The Flying Spaghetti Monster
created Slaughterfish, meaning for them to swim in the water. It is not his
will that they walk on land!

He's... Testing us, that's all.

On my way toward Bruma, I passed a hunter on the side of the road. He was
crouched down, as still as could be, watching a dear on the opposite side
of the road. As I passed by he said, "Shhh! You'll spook the heard!"
