What does black dye sell for in Guild Wars?

I think it's highly unlikely you'll come across anyone in pre-searing
with that much money.

Save it! 6 plat is a lot of money for someone fresh out of the
academy. It will pay for your first few armor sets.

Check what the dye trader would *sell* a black dye to you for, and
offer to sell for that amount minus, say, 1000-2000 gold to sweeten
the deal so someone will chose to buy from you instead of from the dye
trader.

if youre presearing (shiny clean ascalon) save it for post seraing (burnt
out ascalon) where you will get 7.5k for it
